Puno is a wonderfully soft blend of cotton and alpaca. The cotton, which is GOTS certified, and the alpaca come from Peru, where it is also spun for us. We wanted to create a cotton yarn in different shades without having to dye the fibre. By combining it with undyed alpaca, we created a beautiful palette of subtle natural shades. The blend of smooth cotton and fluffy alpaca make Puno a great all year round yarn that looks good knitted or crocheted. It has excellent stitch definition and can be used for any kind of textured stitch pattern.
